What's going on at Virtus Performance...

Hey Virtus Family,

I can't believe we are nearly halfway through September. The days are flying by and, not sure about you, but I'm loving the feel of the sun coming out!

On behalf of the entire Virtus team, we are all super proud of how you have shown up over the winter. It feels like it's been a long cold couple of months ... But summer is coming! The mornings are lighter and the evenings are getting longer. We can't wait to see you all in the gym, enjoying the warmer weather and helping you all to achieve your goals 🏼🏼

Other than to pump you all up, I wanted to give you all an update on what's happening at the gym.

EVENTS

We have a lot planned over the next few months. There are a few social events where we can come together as a community and let our hair down... As well as some athletic programs to level up your performance, health and development.

2nd Annual Barbells and Beers

This was one of my favourite events last year. Come along to our second official Barbells and Beers session. Lift some heavy things, have a beer and hang out with an awesome crew. Open to non-members ($10 entry).

When: 4pm-6pm Friday 27th September (Public Holiday Friday before the AFL Grand Final, #GoEagles)

Pre-season Program (Athletic Development)

Soon, we will kick off our Virtus Pre-Season Program.

If you are an athlete who wants to be faster, stronger and more resilient on the field/ track/ court, this program is custom-built for you.

This program is designed to improve your Strength, Speed, Power, Endurance and all of the elements that come with being better at your sport. Spend the pre-season working on your weaknesses and fortifying your strengths.

Virtus Birthday Bash

It's nearly time for our Annual Birthday Bash. This November will mark four years since we opened our doors. This year we are going to do something a little different... Rather than our traditional trivia, Lachie has decided to hang up his microphone (thank goodness...)

This will be a great opportunity to get together as a community, celebrate this huge milestone and have some fun. Stayed tuned for more details soon.

Virtus Family Christmas Party

As always, the Virtus Family Christmas Party is being held in December. Get all kinds of around it.

Of course, this Includes the VirtusBall World Championships. Start organising your teams. It's going to be a shake-down.

Update on upstairs at the Gym


You may have noticed that recently the upstairs consulting and treatment rooms have disappeared. This is to make room for some brand new offices and treatment rooms. We are currently in the process of applying for permits and getting some plans drawn up.

We want you guys (the Virtus Family) to be involved in the process of rebuilding. So if you have any ideas for new plans, what you want to see up there or interior design tips...

...hit us up!

Lastly, the Virtus Podcast is back!! After a hiatus over the last 6 months, we have decided to dust off the microphone and record some conversations with some cool people. Lachie and I sat down today to record the first of a mini-series to close out the year.
