Virtus Daily Blog #4 - I am dissatisfied…
”The movement of descent and discovery begins at the moment you consciously become dissatisfied with life”
I’m happy to say that im dissatisfied. Don’t get me wrong. I love the life I live. I love what I do. I love who I am fortunate enough to do it with. That doesn’t mean that I’m satisfied with who I am or what I am.
If you’re honest with yourself, you probably are too. Any individual who appreciates growth and wants to be a better version of themselves is bound to be dissatisfied. I want to learn more, experience more, connect more and love more.
Our responsibility as humans is to grow and adapt. To evolve into a higher functioning organism. To be more.
That evolution comes when we break down what we believe to be true. Seeking information which challenges our belief systems allows us to transcend our current capabilities and outputs.
The line to be a leader and to take responsibility for the result is short. Because when things don’t go well, few people want to stick around to fix the problem.
To get what you want. You need to stick around.
Be courageous. Take the action to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. You’ll make mistakes, you’ll fuck up, you’ll never actually reach that thing as the finish line always moves. But the person you’ll become along the journey will transcend anything you thought possible beforehand.
To your growth.
